Melissa Mendes-Vogelgsang is a German-based Brazilian Architect, Artist and Illustrator.
“I love to draw, drawing has always been my favorite thing. I lived in several cities in my life, I was born in São Luís, Brazil, but with 17 I moved to Belo Horizonte, where I studied Architecture and Fine Arts, followed by Madrid, Rio de Janeiro, Berlin, and since 2017 I settled in Leipzig, Germany, where I live and work. Architecture and the city life inspire me the most, that’s why I created the project ‘Cities of Me’, where I share what I’ve learned and seen in the cities where I’ve been through my drawings and short stories.”
